7 Day Return & Exchange Promise/Warranty & Services

At Carrefour, customer satisfaction is our first priory! Shop at ease with our 7 days return/exchange promise!

Carrefour’s ‘7 Day Return/Exchange Promise’ allows you to return or exchange any purchase within a time-frame of 7 days after purchase. Carrefour’s Customer Service will be happy to assist you with a full refund or exchange of your purchase within the aforementioned timeframe, keeping note of the following terms and conditions:

1)    The item(s) purchased can only be returned/ exchanged at the same store where the purchase was made.  

2)    The item(s) to be returned/exchanged should be in their original condition, as when purchased, with unopened packaging 

3)    The item(s) must be supplemented with the original invoice, accessories as well as any complementary free gifts.

4)    For return/exchange of Heavy Household purchases, delivery charges may apply. Items subject to home delivery (TVs, home theater and big appliances) are entitled to onsite maintenance in conjunction with our supplier service.

5)    Refund will be made in cash for items paid by cash only. In case of credit card payments, refund will be made against the credit card only.

6)    If you have purchased or received an item(s) that is defective (e.g. delivered with ripped or missing parts or other damage), it may be returned for a replacement or returned for full credit only after proper verification of the claim, and consequent approval. Exchange/refund is also subject to verification and approval in case of a manufacturing defect.

Service and Warranty 

Carrefour ensures deliverance of a brand’s original warranty and protection promise!

Carrefour guarantees the originality of all branded stock ranging from heavy household items to grocery items. All Carrefour items are procured on guarantee of originality from the brands and distributors, ensuring that our customers have access to only original and best quality products. 

The following terms and conditions apply to our warranty and service policy:
1)    The warranty policy applies from the day of purchase and remains valid as per the brand’s own terms and conditions mentioned on the warranty card. 

2)    For repair services, item(s) purchased at Carrefour must be taken to the same store where the purchase was made for after-sales services and repairs. However, the following terms and conditions apply for availing after-sales/repair services:

•    Carrefour at all times will facilitate you for after-sales and repair services but will not be directly responsible for the brand’s commitment.

•    In case the product turns out to be defective upon delivery/purchase, the after-sales service department will decide whether the product should be replaced or repaired after a detailed verification. 

•    However, repair requests will absolutely not be entertained under the following conditions:

    1. The defect is due to improper use (improper voltage, exposure to liquid, abuse or misuse etc).
    2. The serial number on the product is unknown.
    3. The item has been repaired by a third party.
